Lance Corporal Dale Means, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 when his vehicle was hit by an IED while serving in Afghanistan.
Age 23
From New Prague, MN
Dale was born April 17, 1989 in Burnsville, Minnesota to John D. & Dale Lyn L. (Larsen) Means. Dale attended Farmington Elementary School, New Prague High School, and Dakota County Technical Institute. Following his education, he entered the US Marine Corps. Dale married Andrea B. Scheffler on October 15, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in St. Patrick, Minnesota.
Our community gathered together to honor a life taken too soon.
We were fortunate that Larry “the flagman” Eckhardt was able to make it to help us honor Lance Corporal Dale Means.
